Mining is one of FSM’s specialist areas, supported by extensive experience delivering accommodation and operational buildings for remote mine sites across Africa, including West Africa, Central Africa, Madagascar, and Southern Africa. We support operations of all sizes, from small camps to those housing 5000 or more, with practical solutions designed for remote conditions and complex site requirements.

FSM assists with accommodation layouts and the core facilities that keep a workforce productive and supported, including kitchens, dining halls and recreation areas, as well as offices, training and support buildings. Our solutions are designed to help projects start quickly and scale efficiently, whether the requirement relates to a new greenfields development, an expansion to an existing mine or redevelopment of a previously mined deposit. Where a turnkey approach is preferred, we have partners who can offer full camp services including catering and camp management, allowing mining teams to simplify delivery under a coordinated solution. Sanitation infrastructure can be integrated to suit the project, from single units to larger changehouses, including relocatable options where site needs change.
